Thassos is suitable for those travelers with many different tastes. If you like hiking, Thassos has many different trails that go up into the mountains. One such mountain is called Ypsarion. It is about 1200 meters in height and hiking it will surely provide you with a great result. On a clear day the view from the peak is amazing. You can see many of the islands south of Thassos. The island also has many beaches such as Skala Potamia, Golden Beach, Paradise Beach, Aliki, and Tripiti Beach. These are just a few of the many beaches that Thassos has to offer.
